BREAKING: a phenomenal declaration from one of Canada's most successful companies. The end of 'office centricity' means the end of the daily commute. This is an opening for the beginning of decarbonized cities for people. Other smart companies will soon follow suit.

1) Thank your councillor and staff for unanimous approval- this is a big moment. 2) Both projects will need significant public support for federal and provincial funding if they are to be implemented in the next 10 years. Email your MLA & MP and to support HRM’s asks.

Quit sending Xenninials and Millennials things to print at home. We don't have a printer. And if we do, we haven't found the power cord from our last move. We had been surviving on secretly using our work printers for years.

Police don’t “prevent crime” they often show up after a crime has been committed and investigate to solve the crime. You know what does though? Adequate housing, proper mental health care/response, poverty reduction, education, food security, but “defunding its a CRAZY concept...

If this isn’t the epitome of the Halifax/Dartmouth real estate market right now. Bought 1 year ago for $410k (under asking) and now sold again for $601k (a whopping $110k OVER ASKING). Congrats to whoever just made $190k (minus reno budget, but still) on North St in one year 😂

(some ideas that did not make it into this story) When city governments mandate notification to abutting property owners about new development, they are literally saying that property ownership entitles you to a greater voice in how cities develop.

Possibly HRM has finally decided that District 2 is simply David Andrew Hendsbee's kingdom and there's no need for an election. Congratulations, Dave! But really hfxgov I've gotta know who the candidates are plz. halifax.ca/city-hall/elec…

Finding it hard to decide between a councillor who believes building good relationships helps to deliver results (Sam Austin) and one who brags about kicking down doors.. 🤔

If you’re mad about the new parking meters only letting you park on the street for 4 hours (???) I’d offer: 1) we shouldn’t design our city for car-owners who *want* to park on the street all day 2) most of the new meters are in areas with awesome transit routes. Try the bus!

Is there more to the WE thing? Probably! More than the government wants you to know and less than the opposition thinks, I'd bet. Was the Liberal decision to make this a confidence motion cynical? Big time. Was the committee itself a partisan stretch by a desperate CPC? Yup.
