Lastly, Nikki Hubers presented her work comparing #transcriptomic and #metabolomicsdata between MZ and DZ twins in Netherlands Twin Register and FIMM HelsinkiUni, finding converging evidence for the TGF-B pathway for DZ twinning and the WNT-signaling pathway and cell cycle processes for MZ twinning.

We investigate maternal characteristics in natural and medically assisted DZ twin pregnancies and show that mothers of naturally conceived DZ twins are more often smokers, have fewer miscarriages and a lower maternal age. Read everything we found here: cambridge.org/core/journals/…
