I really wish that #publishers of #CookeryBooks would STOP putting photos of anything other than the #recipes. I don't care about pretty scenery, I just want to know what the recipes are supposed to look like! #PetPeeve

Loving that people who came to my Cambridge Festival workshop in March are sending me pictures of what they’ve made - one talented young stitcher made several of the designs, and one of the adult group picked out more elements from my blog and turned them into pouches - fabulous!

Sadly, the wonderful and very talented dragon maker, Val Chivers, passed away yesterday. Anyone who has read The Last Dragon Chronicles will know she was the inspiration for the character of Elizabeth Pennykettle. Val will be greatly missed. Dragon tears are being shed today.

Loving #HeartstopperS2 but why are they kissing in a cupboard with 'Key Stage 1' stuff? In a SECONDARY SCHOOL? Maybe someone should advise them of school stuff (me?). Anyway 🥰😘🥰😘🥰🥰🥰 in general.

Yesterday at York Minster I was told by the guide that the monkeys in the pilgrimge window are there because there were wild monkeys in York in medieval times, having come from shops from Africa. Really?! I have found no evidence of this. 𝔇𝔯 𝔈𝔪𝔪𝔞 𝔍. 𝔚𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔰 have you heard of this?
