Great job Dr. Angela R Kruse! One of many Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP) images of the week.
Two incredible oral presentations coming from the Spraggins lab at #ASMS2023 Allison Esselman will unravel the molecular distribution of glomeruli using microscopy-directed high spatial resolution IMS, while jackie dives deep into the molecular distribution of S. aureus abscess
As usual, Martin’s amazing images drew a crowd Am Soc for Mass Spec #imaging #TeamMassSpec
Check out our Wednesday lineup at #ASMS2023 including Allison Esselman talk on microscopy directed imaging.
Great job Katerina Djambazova! Very impressive panel on isomeric differentiation in molecular imaging. Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology
Great times at our Prentice Lab UF / Van de Plas Lab / Spraggins Lab dinner last night! Such a fun annual tradition and opportunity to get to know new friends at #ASMS2023. #teamMassSpec
Claire Scott ‘s first #ASMS2023 poster on her work developing methods for multimodal imaging of white matter hyperintensities was a hit! Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology
We always get asked about reproducibility and QC/QA.. Katerina Djambazova had the imaging community’s attention with her work addressing this challenge at #ASMS2023 as part of our Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP) and Kidney Precision Medicine Project efforts. Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology
Incredible presentation by Jacqueline Van Ardenne on the molecular distribution of staph infected kidneys! 👏👏👏 Special thanks to our collaborators on this project Eric Skaar and Van de Plas Lab
So happy for Jackie! Her presentation at #ASMS2023 on our work with Eric Skaar and Van de Plas Lab on how infection alters tissue microenvironments was simply stunning. Way to rep our lab and Vanderbilt Chemistry Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology
Always a surprise how well Chris can image bone by MALDI IMS. Lots of interest at Am Soc for Mass Spec in our work with @CassatLab on bone infection. Vanderbilt Chemistry
Out of the frying pan and into the pancreas! Dr. Angela R Kruse at @spragginslab used #3DMicroscopy to open a window pane within the pancreas showing a neural node. The pancreas makes enzymes necessary for the pandemonium of digestion, a real Pandora's box if ever there was one!
I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of people Vanderbilt Cell and Developmental Biology
