Could you do us a small favour? The abuse we are receiving along with other NHS staff has honestly made us want to quit Twitter. We are all just ordinary frontline staff. If you support us, and you are reading or tweeting on the hashtag #thankyouNHS please will retweet & follow?

WA was the first State to apologise for the forced adoption practices of the past yet we are still one of the last to hold an Inquiry. I've called on the Premier to take this important step to help enable understanding & reconnection by those impacted. x.com/westaustralian…

The First Minister of Scotland issued a formal apology to Mothers Fathers Children who has undergone the trauma of forced adoption. Sadly the present Conservative Government for UK has refused to do the same. My Sincere hope is that a new Labour Government will right this wrong .

Watch as First Minister Nicola Sturgeon issues a “sincere, heartfelt and unreserved” formal apology in the Scottish Parliament to mothers, fathers, and families who suffered due to being forced to give up babies for adoption in 1950s, 1960s and 1970s

An apology does not undo the pain, trauma and heartbreak that forced adoptions caused to so many. But acknowledging historic injustice is essential to ensuring that lessons are learned, and to give some solace to those who suffered so much news.stv.tv/scotland/first…

Every American should watch this and heed his warning. We are losing our democracy. It starts in Tennessee, but it won’t end there.

If you are in doubt, I did a thread last year on why it is important to understand the forced adoption of children of unmarried mothers as a state-driven, led and financed process rather than simply stigma, social values and reluctant relinquishment. x.com/GrandCamouflag…

I have met some of those affected by these issues, their trauma is palpable. Many are getting older and continue to campaign as volunteers. Time for Westminster to apologise for Historic Forced Adoptions. Please help shine a light & sign chng.it/ZCb9c6BVyh via Change.org UK
