So, are we moving to CDC’s isolation and quarantine rules? Are we also using their guidance of “suggestive” masking? And their guidance of “you can leave home after a COVID diagnosis after five days, WITH SYMPTOMS, if they are ‘improving’? There’s NO science here.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but contracting Covid despite being fully vaccinated is no shame. It’s like getting hit by another car while driving…but you were wearing your seat belt and weren’t badly injured. You were smart. You saved your own and others’ lives.

The policy of cohorting patients with Covid together with double vaccinated patients is dangerous. This is a defiant rejection of airborne transmission & our duty to patient safety. That it is supported by BC public health authorities is appalling.
