13 December 1943 | A French Jewish boy, Leon Herbstman, was born in Vichy. On 13 April 1944, he was deported from #Drancy to #Auschwitz in a group of 1,500 Jews. On 16 April 1944, he was murdered in a gas chamber together with his mom Frida and father Henri.

14 December 1911 | Czech Jewish woman Gertruda Weissová was born. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt ghetto on 23 January 1943. She did not survive.

15 December 1926 | A Polish Jewish girl, Fruma Supe, was born in Warsaw. She emigrated to France. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Beaune-la-Rolande on 5 August 1942. She did not survive.

18 December 1925 | A Czech Jew, Jiří Reinisch, was born in Prague. He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt ghetto on 28 September 1944. He did not survive.

Ilse Geuze left her parents’ farm in Austria to attend a school for children with disabilities. In Dec 1940 her parents received a letter from the Hartheim Castle informing them that Ilse had been admitted to the institution. In Jan 1941, they received an urn holding her ashes.
