Last week was incredible working w/ d-school in the #Congo Basin on a design thinking project. The remote community even built us an off-grid venue. The project pushed us out of our comfort zones, but with quick thinking & teamwork, it became a powerful learning experience!

Just wrapped up a productive quarterly meeting of the National Multisectoral Parenting Group! Together w/Govt & key stakeholders, we’re advancing a unified, evidence-based approach to support parents & caregivers across Tanzania, for safer, healthier, & happier homes, & families.

Had two intensive days co-developing Tanzania’s National Coordination Framework for Parenting & a scale-up plan for the Parenting App. Grateful to Parenting for Lifelong Health, Clowns Without Borders SA, NIMR Tanzania & our Govt. partners for their expertise & strong leadership throughout!

The cases of #sexual violence & #abuse shared by the Social Welfare Officers were truly heartbreaking. It was really difficult to listen to, but it was a powerful reminder of the urgent need for action. We all have a role to play in ending #violence in our homes & communities.

In Songwe, I joined a dialogue with 135+ pupils (grades 5–7) on teen #pregnancy & #childmarriage, facilitated by community development officers. I’m inspired by how much they already know about their rights & protection from #violence! They’re true young ambassadors for change!🌟
