It took one womans dogged determination with NO help from Lancashire Wildlife Trust to save the Male Swan on Middleton NR after a dog attack. Jo pestered everyone for help, it took a guy from Bellas legacy getting him the help he needed. The Swan's now been treated and xrayed by vets.

Common Darters at Middleton NR yesterday. At last fences have gone up to try and stop the dogs from disturbing wildlife after the Swan was injured. Not good for us photograhers but it needed doing. 👍
