Collaboration in action with York University Theatre & Dance students and York Region DSB Curriculum Consultants from the Arts Team & YRDSB Pathways team focussed on supporting transitions through the Arts!
SHSM Students enrolled in the Health and Wellness sector in York Region DSB schools had the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities and trending topics in the health care sector through a regional SPE organized by YRDSB Pathways
Inclusive education: elementary teachers and administrators engaged in professional learning hosted by ESL/ELD curriculum consultants in support of programming for the success of multilingual language learners in York Region DSB.

Experiential learning for York Region DSB students in Grades 7-12: At “Level Up!” students visited interactive exhibits, participated in hands-on activities with tradespeople and learned more about careers in the skilled trades YRDSB Pathways Skilled Trades Ontario
Strong partnerships between school boards and communities contribute to student achievement. Students and families engaged in pathway discussions with staff and professionals in a variety of fields through a partnership event hosted by ASGC & York Region DSB.
It was wonderful to see over 450 students & families at this evening’s event to support the exploration of pathways in the Skilled Trades, hosted in collaboration with Pathways @ YCDSB. Thank you to all the organizations who partnered with us in support of student success.
The Semester Two cohort of students in YRDSB’s School Within A College program were welcomed by Seneca Dual Credit staff during their first day on campus for orientation Seneca Polytechnic!
Co-op students from York Region DSB are busy getting their Working At Heights certificate. Health and safety is the top priority when our students are going out to the workplace!
Fast Track: Explore Your Future Student Conference is a collaborative event with York Catholic District School Board & York Region DSB. Keynote Calissa Ngozi kicked off the event. Students in Grade 11 & 12 pursuing the apprenticeship and workplace pathways learned more about this transition from our graduates.
