.ASRC has seen an increase in people using the organisation's food bank services over the last 6 months. The cost of living significantly impacts people seeking asylum because many do not have income, Medicare, work rights & no or little family support.

We’re in Canberra to stop Albanese Gov passing a law this week that would send people seeking asylum to jail for for not helping with their own deportation back to danger. It would also ban people from more than 30 counties from entering Australia for work, study, holiday etc

Deterrence does not work, it punishes people fleeing for their lives.
