Great end to my day joining @ThangamMP @Creative_Youth and discussing with young people their hot topics of street homelessness, access to employment #drop the ban and the prohibitive cost of bus travel. The future is safe with this lot... moral compass very firmly in place.

At #EcoHub, we work closely with helpers—volunteers recruited and trained by OHF to manage community projects. The helpers currently in our garden team—a young man from Afghanistan and another from Cameroon—help us as garden assistants & in community outreach. #refugeesgr

We hosted lectures (in English with Farsi, Arabic, French, and Greek translation) in our greenhouse classroom and in Low-tech Lab's neighboring #MakerSpace. The #EcoHub gardens served their usual purpose as an outdoor classroom: as one of the sites for practical application!

So happy to be offering life science lessons out of the #EcoHub again! We can't wait to watch our students grow as they watch seed grow to seedling, seedling to plant, plant to flower, flower to fruit... #permaculture #eie #refugeesgr medium.com/@betterdaysngo…
