So glad that I decided on a quick 9 holes at Portmahomack GC this afternoon. The 8th was worth the £15 green fee on its own.

Just finished reading “When Revelation Comes” by Jim Hartsell - a wonderful book about the kind of golf I love and so much more. Can’t recommend it highly enough (whisper it, but I read it straight after rereading “To the Linksland” and I think it might be even better).

Delighted to have played a very small part in this - and to have a number of new courses added to the list of those that I’d like to see! Anyone just chasing the top 100 is missing out. There are so many great courses out there.

Has anyone else noticed the IBM Watson score projections on the Masters app? Just bizarre. It seems to suggest that there’s a 30% chance that Scheffler shoots either below 62 or above 82 in round 1.
