Can we convince surgical colleges or surgical associations that XR surgical training is the future? We have convinced the next generation, the VRiMS medical student surgical societies group Manchester, UCLAN, Lincoln, Buckinghamshire, KCL, Exeter, Sheffield, BSMS and St George’s

XR for global health or just a midlife crises?

In January of this year Apple dropped stereoscopic view for 360VR on YouTube. Not a major problem for low to middle income countries where most use android devices but a problem for the U.K. and so we built our own app, the VRiMS app for live streaming on android & iOS devices.

I meet with Zambians and Cameroons tonight, go to the Gold Coast Australia next week and then India the week after. We plan VRiMS events in Kenya and Tanzania next year. This is the power of XR for global health.
