Sometimes I think about the timespan and evolution from the Wright brothers to the moon landing. The timespan from Pong to Wii Golf. Then I think about things like our voting and education system. 😐

Tired of going out to eat w/ people who love to whine about slow service and how nobody wants to work these jobs… by people who would never perform ‘these jobs’. “Gee, Karen, why don’t you fill out an application? - yah, that’s right - we both know why.”

I love teaching. I hate being a school teacher.

The "self-made" man is more of a myth than the "inherently lazy" one.

We're not even a month into the school year. I work as 1 of 14 teacher/admin in a small school. I have seen 6 reach a point of trembling/tears on seperate occasions already. Leaders - there is work to be done.

If we want people to take pride in their work, we need to show them we value their work. If we want people to take initiative, we need to show them we value their contributions. What gets validated, gets replicated.

If you give a lottery ticket with the right intentions you’ll always give a winner.

Districts or schools that remove students from physical education, music, Arts, or other classes to remediate them in other areas, have no idea of the immediate and long term damage they are doing to these students. This often makes them feel more defeated and hate school.

Would you rather someone you raised become someone you don't recognize, or someone who has raised you become someone you don't recognize?

Think thoughts you wouldn't normally think if you'd like to get results you wouldn't normally get.
