A mix of emotions with my last ever SYP Board meeting tomorrow evening ahead of #SYP69 next weekend. We however have still got a packed agenda with lots of ongoing work to discuss, preparation for #SYP69 and importantly setting our legacy for the next Scottish Youth Parliament Board.

✈️ On my way to Edinburgh this morning to sit round the Scottish Youth Parliament Board table for the final time as a Trustee after two years on SYP Board and four years as an MSYP for Orkney. A very surreal and humbling feeling that this incredible experience is nearly drawing to an end.

It’s a nice day for a 10K! Thrilled to finish the St Magnus 10K on my home turf in 40 minutes! Big thanks to all the St Magnus Marathon volunteers helping make today another great success — and well done to all the runners! 🍌🏅🏃‍♂️

Amidst the Brexit crisis and looming eventuality of an early General Election we cannot afford to forget that in an early UK election it is likely a glaring constiutional injustice will be committed again. It’s time for the United Kingdom to be united in the right to vote at 16.
