It is time for Nigeria to consider separating the offices of the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation. Various attempts to be politically correct are clouding the officeholders' judgment.

I don't understand this lie where governors and politicians defect to other parties, obviously for "protection and immunity from investigation," but claim they are doing so in the interest of the state and their constituents!

"In the interest of their constituents or state," it’s often a political talking point meant to justify their move to the public. They argue that aligning with the ruling party will allow them to bring more resources, projects, or influence to their area.

The more I read the Court of Appeal's verdict on the Edo elections, the more I agree with the proposal to conclude all court cases before swearing in.

This new trend of democratic distributions in Africa just around elections is alarming. I hope it is not the new game plan by the political class. Guinea Bissau's coup was just before results were to be announced. Benin has elections in January 2026!!
