Woods at times need to be noisy - for woodland nature, for forestry timber

I wonder when we might get some in Bedfordshire. Real challenges to win buy in and mitigate some of the problems they will cause but hopefully will happen in my lifetime.

Having spent the day coppicing hazel in this lovely old Suffolk wood, Rob Yorke's earlier vlog on managing our woodlands got me thinking. Should we not be looking after what we have, before we rush to plant new woods?
