I was at the National Assembly today to brief Senators on the current state of healthcare facilities and services across the country. We are using the ongoing rehabilitation of Primary Health Centres across the country as a springboard to repositioning the sector.

Today, we launched the assessment checklist for Federal Tertiary Hospitals. The checklist will assess the quality of services in our tertiary health institutions, improve patient safety and overall clinical governance for better clinical outcome. Quality of Care is our goal.

I had the pleasure of presenting letter of appointment as CMD, @Tweet_abuzaria Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria to Professor Ahmed Hamidu. I wish him well and also urge him to ensure that the hospital continues to deliver quality healthcare services to Nigerians.

I was in Ibadan, Oyo State today to commission and hand over to the Oke Ayo Community, erosion control works on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari. The project, an intervention from the FG through the Ecological Fund Office.
