News: Wake Forest INF transfer Antonio Morales has transferred to Maryland. A native of Norfolk, MA, Morales started 41 games in his two seasons at Wake. A career .263 hitter, Morales will have two years of eligibility remaining as he heads to College Park for his junior season.

12 years ago today, Jared Nickens committed to Maryland. A four-star recruit coming out of Westtown School (PA), Nickens would finish eight all-time in three-pointers made as a Terp. Nickens played a few seasons in Canada after graduating from Maryland in 2018.

Maryland basketball has locked in another non-conference game as they’ll host Old Dominion on December 28th. The Monarchs are coached by longtime DeMatha head coach and former Maryland assistant coach Mike Jones. Ex-Terps center Caelum Swanton-Rodger will be a senior for ODU.

SCOOP: Maryland received a commitment from Virginia shortstop Jackson Sirois, per source. The Paul VI product was the 2024 WCAC Player of the Year. Sirois appeared in 20 games for the Cavaliers the past season. He is the seventh addition for the Terps through the portal.
