This is long overdue. So thankful for President Trump and Secretary Bessent stopping the flow of taxpayer-funded payments to illegal aliens.

Absolutely stupid take. Letting people keep more of their own money (tax deduction) isn’t the same as spending taxpayer money (ObamaCare). And the value of ObamaCare subsidies is 3X the value of the tax deduction.

Mark accidentally identifies a core problem with ObamaCare and the Biden COVID bonuses. Taxpayers pay *all* of the premiums — directly to insurance companies! — for millions of enrollees. And costs have exploded.

A quarter of Medicaid spending is improper. Over 80% of that is due to eligibility errors. Waste, fraud, and abuse are rampant. And every dollar spent on fraudsters is a dollar unavailable for the truly needy and other core priorities.

Absolutely stupid take. Trump’s win rate at the Supreme Court is over 90%. “We convinced Democrat activist judges to issue rulings that keep getting overruled!” isn’t quite the flex you think it is.

And yet virtually all of the misnamed “tax credits” are just federal outlays that flow directly to insurance companies, including for “people” who never actually enrolled or don’t even exist.

“ACA tax credits” are not expiring. They are continuing. But the “emergency” COVID bonuses to insurance companies are expiring on the schedule YOU voted for.
