I recently submitted my PhD thesis on “Learning Music Representations from Audio and Language”! A bit nervous to wrap up such an incredible period of my life, but super excited for what comes next. After the defence, I'll be joining Google DeepMind, this time no longer a student!

In session 6 we had presentations from Ilaria Manco (best paper nominee, w/ Emmanouil Benetos Elio Quinton) and Yannis Vasilakis 🎵

My last ISMIR Conference as a PhD student is officially over! I’m leaving SF feeling inspired and incredibly proud of being part of such a creative and supportive research community. And honoured to have received a best paper award (together with my co-author Benno Weck)!
