Some thoughts on coffee. Very, very happy with my Caramelly FIKAPRESSO. I think it’s a clone of OUTIN Nano. But a damn good one at that. It’s basically a portable rechargeable espresso maker that also heats water. Works brilliant with pods, and even ground coffee.

Super disappointed with the INSTACUPPA 3 in one coffee maker. I want a lot of stuff from this brand, including cold brew maker, rechargeable grinder, vacuum canister but this was the total fail. Poor extraction with both pods as well as capsules.

Finally, I am super thrilled with my Lavazza Blue mini. Totally subjective, but I prefer the taste and quantity of a capsule over a pod. And this is one high-quality easy to use machine.

New Apple purchases this season have been the iPad Pro M4 11 inch and the Apple Watch ultra two. Overall, very happy with both of them, but there are some finer points I wish I had known before.

First the iPad Pro, M4 11 inch. This is the perfect size unless you want to do a full MacBook replacement. The magic keyboard is skippable. Great slim case and an easel from Spigen. Apple Pencil Pro has turned out to be useful, even though I don’t draw.

The Apple Watch ultra two is a great bargain because the ultra three only adds 5G which is a bit unnecessary in a watch, even better visibility from weird angles and slightly faster charging.

Surprisingly, for me, the ocean band turned out to be the best one. Titanium Milanese loop is an odd combo. Trail loop is a sweat sponge. Alpine is a pain to put on and take off.

Amazon is done. They will simply not be able to compete with quick commerce.
