In today’s NHS climate it almost always seems wrong to say you love your job. But tonight’s carol concert with Success Charity - Life After Cure, a charity very close to my heart dedicated to childhood brain tumour survivors, reminded me what a privilege it is to care for them.

Bears out in clinical practice, even in paediatric settings and pubertal induction. We favour transdermal preparations so much that we forget some of our patients do much better with other routes eg oral. Have had to swap quite a few patients now esp with hypothalamic obesity.
