One of our newest DCoaD Lab projects is working to create a STEM partnership with Arts N Autism in Tuscaloosa. Today, our faculty went and taught some students how to use different robotics programs. We are really looking forward to seeing this partnership grow!

We had a great time yesterday working with students at Arts N Autism. They loved exploring with the Sphero Bolt robot and are eager to learn more!

New Project Announcement‼️ The purpose of this project is to develop a web-based platform, called Compose With Artificial Intelligence (AI), aimed at guiding students to evaluate AI-generated content and use factual information to compose common types of science-focused writing.

We had a great time working with and programming Lego Spike robots this week at Arts N Autism!

❓Did you know❓ There are limited opportunities for youth with disability to engage with computer science learning. Our projects are working to create environments for these students to informally engage in computer science and STEM activities!

Students loved working with Lego Robots at Arts N Autism this week! We are having a great time providing informal computer science opportunities for these students.

Students are using artificial intelligence programs such as ChatGPT more and more often. Our new project, Compose with AI, aims to teach about how to properly use content produced by AI. Check out our website to learn more about this project!
