Yay, conferences are back! It's so fun to be at SPLASH Conference, I love it! And feels very safe, too--even at a reception with food/drinks, notice basically everyone not actively consuming something is wearing a mask, and 100% of attendees are vaccinated.

Congratulations to Sumon Biswas Sumon Biswas for successfully defending his PhD thesis in the Iowa State Department of Computer Science. His thesis understands algorithmic fairness in software and describes mechanisms to validate these properties. Congrats, soon-to-be Dr. Biswas!
