Sark, on last week's comment that the Michigan game wouldn't "define our season": "What's going to define our season is the totality--our body of work. This game at Michigan can serve as a barometer for how good we can be--but as good as we played, we'll need to be better."

Sark, asked for where they can better: "I think on the perimeter, our blocking can improve. Secondly--we need to go to another level with our killer instinct--we need to go into the fourth quarter being relentless...that's a mentality that we're striving for and can be better."

Sark, not concerned with Trey Moore's emotional approach playing against his former team (UTSA) this week: "I just think that's the world we live in...he's not the most emotional guy--I know his serious nature with how he approaches the game."

Sark, on this week's opponent, 2-0 Louisiana-Monroe: "They believe in hard-nosed, tough football...they are playing sound, good football with a lot of new faces and transfers."

Sark, on his team dealing with the #1 ranking: "Now, more than ever, because of the 12-team playoff, it really doesn't matter...we've gotta prepare to perform...it's good to show what we're capable of, but we've got to earn this thing--we've got a long way to go."

Sark, saying there is no need to say anything to Arch Manning about dealing with the attention: "Arch is just another guy on our team...Arch is a selfless teammate--he works his tail off, and wants to play for his team."

Sark, on Quinn Ewers continuing to work while rehabbing and that he'll be ready to go when healthy: "He's always staying dialed in...he's also diligent with his recovery, so that when he comes back, he comes back at a high level."

Sark, on where he still wants to see improvement from his defense: "Hopefully, we can keep people out of the end zone...if we can stop the run and minimize the explosive pass plays and create turnovers...not giving up chunk plays, we'll be better."

Sark, addressing RB Jayden Blue's availability after Blue missed last Saturday's game vs. UTSA: "Jayden's making good progress...hopefully we can Jayden back this week."

Sark, saying that the amount of reps that Arch Manning will receive during the week will depend on Quinn Ewers' daily progress with his condition being questionable for Saturday's game: "That's gonna be day-to-day, and Quinn's gonna be day-to-day."

Sark, on Trey Owens getting more reps as the backup QB to Arch Manning if Quinn Ewers is unavailable: "Trey's gonna get more reps this week--that's how that rolls downhill and evolves."
