The Home Forward 2024 Draft Moving to Work Annual Plan is available for public comment until August 27, 2023 at homeforward.org/moving-to-work/. Instructions for submitting comments and information about the program are on the site.

part 1- We did it! Dekum Court’s Phase I grand opening event was a success. We are grateful to Commissioner Carmen Rubio HUD Northwest OregonMetroHome, Sen. @ronwyden’s office and other partners for joining! The voter approved 2018 Metro Affordable Housing Bond helped fund the redevelopment.

part 2- Once completed, Dekum Court will provide affordable housing to 187 households. Home Forward is redeveloping the property in two phases to minimize disruption to current residents. We're grateful to all who came out to celebrate!

Tuesday saw the grand opening for Hazel Ying Lee Apartments, a 206-unit affordable housing complex in SE Portland featuring a computer lounge, playroom, garden plots, & more. @HomeForwardNews will provide onsite resident services in partnership w/ El Programa Hispano Católico.

Then, we were thrilled to join Home Forward at the Hazel Ying Lee Apartments, a new 206-unit development in Creston-Kenilworth, where residents are at risk of displacement. The project contains 30 units of Permanent Supportive Housing, served by IRCO and the JOHS. /3

Last week, the Fairfield opened its doors to residents moving in off the streets! This Home Forward redevelopment project contains 75 studios and single-room occupancy units offering Permanent Supportive Housing, which includes Department of Housing and Urban Development rent support and supportive services. /1
