Thank you to St Martins Church for inviting our Year 2 children to their ‘Christmas Journey’ experience. They had a wonderful morning learning about the Christian Christmas story.

As musicians, Year 4 had a marvellous experience learning about jazz music with the ‘Roots & Blues’ orchestra at the New Wimbledon Theatre. They played percussion instruments and joined in with the songs played. What a wondeful opportunity! #learninginactionwiththeprofessionals

To mark the end of the topic ‘To Infinity and Beyond’, the children in Reception celebrated by having an ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ themed tea party. They used their phonics knowledge to write lists and decorated their own pants using their math knowledge of patterns.

Another fantastic Bible story today by our local community members from St Martin's Church. An opportunity for us to reflect on the values of Christianity around this time of year.

What phenomenal writers we have in Year One. We recently learnt about the features of a non chronological report when writing about gorillas, so put our amazing children to the test to apply these skills and write about giraffes. Dina really did a fabulous job, as did the others!

The Nursery children have been extremely busy getting into the festive spirit! We launched the festivities with a trip to the Polka Theatre to see ‘The Snowy Day’ and then this week we entertained everyone with our own production of the Nativity story. Polka Theatre ❄️🎄
