Very interesting study: disrupted gut microbiome in fibromyalgia (mouse & human data) supports the idea that improving gut microbe conditions may help. You can wait for more or just consume 1-3 servings low sugar fermented food daily per other findings cell.com/neuron/fulltex…

If you discover low vitamin D levels in the winter, your physician will likely recommend a vitamin D supplement and a follow up test in 6 months. This second test will be amazing because it’s during summer. Your doctor will tell you to stop taking Vit. D. But winter is coming.

Brazilian team made a jacket of infrared LEDs (940 nm) and put it on 30 hospitalized COVID patients. Turned on the jacket in 15 of them once a day for 15 minutes (blinded). Those 15 improved faster and were discharged from the hospital in 8 days (instead of 12).

This result was finally published. TL;DR: Treating cancer early in the morning seems to substantially beat treating it later in the day. Just changing patient appointment times is supposedly associated with a ~60% reduction in cancer mortality.

Shoutout to Grok for helping me identify a prescription pill dosing mistake, which enabled me to respectfully push back when the pharmacy staff tried to suggest the smaller pills were simply a different brand. It wasn’t, and it was 250 mg less than prescribed. 💊

One of my students is using Grok to verbally practice a spelling test on the 50 states. Grok remembered what was missed last time and focused on practicing those words. And even cracked an encouraging joke after a mistake.
