I’m a very excited to announce our first preprint in the Heys lab! This work is led by an amazing team of co-lead authors Erin Bigus and Hyunwoo Lee who both pushed this project to become something special. A thread…1/N biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

It was a fantastic experience presenting my work on the multisensory cognitive map at #SfN24! Huge thanks to Enny and Hannah Payne for organizing this fascinating symposium on "Circuit Dynamics Across Brain Regions During Navigation."

Congrats to John Hopfield on winning the Nobel Prize for his theoretical work on associative memory! nobelprize.org/prizes/physics… It is inspiring for me to be part of his scientific lineage (Hopfield → David Tank → @DanielDombeck). He and Tank co-authored 15 papers in the 1980s.
