This week, @gvlcoSheriff, local law enforcement and first responders held active shooter training at Taylors ES with more than 300 district/school personnel participating. It’s one of the many ways the district partners with law enforcement to put student and staff safety first.

Congratulations to Taylors Elementary teacher Fran Hazard, who received the GCS Miracle Worker Award at Tuesday’s Board of Trustees meeting. Mrs. Hazard is credited with saving the life of a student who choked on their lunch during school. Taylors Elementary
