Congratulations to the newly elected National Honor Society Officers for 2024-2025.

Over 200 students from Harlan Community High School have volunteered to help clean up debris throughout our community. On Monday, May 6th students will be dispersed to various locations to help clean up as much as possible.

A big thank you to the Science Club! This past weekend, Mr. Sandquist, Mr. Stane and the science club planted trees next to Hwy 59. The previous trees had all been hit by Emerald Ash Borer and had to be removed.

Today during WIN,  HCHS held their Student Body Presidential speeches. Two candidates, Emercyn R. and Sabre S. shared with the student body why they should be the next Student Body President.

A HUGE thank you to all the students who helped move out furniture to begin our HS classroom renovations/construction. Following finals in the morning, please stick around to help finish moving furniture. Lots of hands make light work!

🌪️Microsoft Office Specialists🌪️ 21 students pass certification tests in Excel, Word & PowerPoint. The certification is the culmination of their work in Computer Applications & Advanced Computer Applications offered in the HCHS Business Dept. See Facebook for student names!

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 The South HS parking lot will be CLOSED on Friday, June 7.  Please park in the North lot until we are done placing our temporary classroom trailers.  This will likely be for June and a portion of July.

Cyclone Robotics #9543 has been busy doing community service and sharing their love for innovation with the Harlan Community. Members of the robotics team have attended the Relay for Life event with their robot, and volunteered at Camp Invention! Thanks, Cyclones! 🌪️

Opa! In late-June, a group from Harlan traveled many miles to venture across the country of Greece.  During this trip, the group was immersed into the ancient Grecian cultures. They were able to travel back in time by heading to temples, burial sites, and theaters.
