At 6:30 am, firefighters responded to the 7300 block of Washington Boulevard for a kitchen fire at a fast-food restaurant. The fire was isolated to the fryer and quickly brought under control. No injuries.

Crews are on the scene in the 5800 block of Morningbird Lane in Columbia for the report of a house fire. Firefighters located a small fire contained to a trash can and are working on ventilating smoke from the home. No reported injuries.
