There's not being a fan of the Royals (an understandable position), then there's actively celebrating the death of an elderly woman. The second one makes you a very unsavoury person. She was an icon. Undeniably. And as someone who isn’t a royalist, I for one will mourn her loss.

Genuine question: How does cancelling events that bring joy to peoples lives but keep them going to work mark respect for the Queens passing? Surely 2 mins silence at every stadium, every festival would be more respectful? Pubs, street parties & Monday off more fitting?

This summer, I got a callback for a major role in an amazing upcoming Netflix show. But getting it would mean cancelling on Ed Fringe. I didn't get it (obvs) and went to Ed Fringe instead. MY LIFE CHANGED FOREVER. Point is: don't worry, you get a million chances ❤🦌⚡
