This senior faculty member at Columbia University learned about NYPD entering campus from *student-run radio.* I still haven't been officially informed. Unless you count the text alert telling me to 'shelter in place' and threatening 'disciplinary action' for 'non-compliance.'

Columbia's web page discussing its regret for calling in police to arrest students in 1968 is displaying a warning about limited access due to NYPD on campus arresting students.

May Columbia never live this down.

Plenty of middle class professionals with depression/anxiety who are also being insulted with 'pull your socks up' BS.

There is no mental health condition that is 'mild' in and of itself. Some people with depression or anxiety have milder symptoms (as with physical conditions: immune, metabolic, etc.). But many are severely affected. What happened to mental health parity? theguardian.com/politics/2024/…
