New DfE data out today: A 38.5% (!) increase in the number of young carers since 2022/23. Free School Meal eligibility is now 24.6% (2.1 million) in 2023/24, up from 15.4% in 2018/19. 16% increase in council funded AP placements since 2022/23. An 82% increase since 2018/19.
