Sunflower update..... Our tallest is now 22cm! We are watering them regularly and giving them lots of sunshine 🌞❤️

This morning we have continued with re-telling the story of 'the 3 little pigs' the children have been busy building houses, towers and cities! I hope that the big bad wolf won't blow them down.......! 🐺🐷🐷🐷

We had so much fun at our Eid party today! We shared food, wore party clothes, had beautiful balloons and played dancing games!

The nursery children have had fun in the sun today. We have enjoyed this week's book 'Toby and the Tricky Things'. We are learning to do all sorts of tricky things by ourselves in the nursery ready for when we go to Reception. Have a lovely half term break everyone! ❤️

How lovely to see all of the children today! And look how much the plants have grown in the garden with all the sunshine! We found worms, woodlice and snails in our bug hotel and we are starting to 'cook' with the parsley in the mud kitchen 🐛🐌🌱 fabulous!

Water play in the garden today. Summertime in the nursery! Wonderful play in the fresh air and lots of busy active learners. ❤️

This week we have been learning all about 'Cinderella'. Today we all swapped shoes to see which shoes were 'too big' 'too small' or if they 'fit'. It was so much fun and a terrific opportunity to learn about comparing sizes!

We have had lots of fun in the nursery today measuring each other, comparing how high we can 'reach' and writing numerals. Mrs Khan was definitely the tallest!

We had a lovely visitor this afternoon! Mr Umney from REA read us a story outside in the garden. The children are very excited about meeting their new Reception teachers ❤️

This morning we have been planting beans in the hope that they will grow into tall beanstalks! We know they will need water and sunshine to grow. 🌱

Don't forget it's sports day tomorrow for the Nursery children! Please can your child wear trainers and comfortable sports clothes suitable for running. Please can your child bring their water bottle, a named sun hat and please apply suncream before they come. ☀️🥇🥈🥉
