Yesterday, I broke my streak of working on my side hustle and sharing updates - something I’d been consistently doing since November. The reason? A dumb accident that nearly cost me my left thumb. After a day in the ER and a small OP I have now a splint for the next 2-4 weeks.

Today I tried to restore the database from my backup. Just to make sure everything works. Check your backup strategy and test the restore process as well.

I have been really productive lately. Finally started to use Claude Code a month ago and I‘m quite happy with the results. Still reviewing everything to keep the code quality high, prevent bugs and KYC (know your code 😉)

Categorization suggestions are coming to Fibunu. During the review of transactions the most relevant categories are displayed at the top. This makes it easier to quickly choose the right category if automatic categorization isn’t possible or the suggested category doesn’t fit.
