After 3 years, HACAP was glad to be back at the Marion ISD “Back to School Right” event that we held last night. Our Head Start and Health Alliance programs were excited to get out and talk with families.

A special thanks goes out to the team at Linn County Public Health for their incredible support in this year’s Eastern Iowa Freedom from Hunger. All together, they raised a total of $755.

All HACAP offices will be closed today August 16th, for our annual all-staff meeting! Each year we welcome over 300+ team members spanning 9 counties to learn, grow and connect so we can better serve you! Our offices will re-open on Wednesday, August 17th!

Our Food Reservoirs is looking for some warehouse volunteers to help pull pantry orders, and do other warehouse jobs as needed on Wednesdays and Thursdays anytime between 7am - 5pm and able to commit to a regular schedule. Please email Craig at [email protected] to learn more!

New child safety seat? Between 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, at Fire Station #4, 2008 Dubuque Road, for a free seat check! Technicians will ensure your seat is properly installed for your child. Just bring your safety seat, your vehicle, and your kiddo!

4th Grade Leadership Team conducted a Food Drive as part of their service strand of the leadership team. All donations were given to the HACAP Food Reservoir in Hiawatha. HACAP supports programs like Operation Backpack in our schools. Ridge donated 1,001 items!

Free hams. Yes, please! TOMORROW at 4 PM, Hy-Vee, HACAP, and our local First Responders will be handing out free hams to our neighbors in need. The Hams for the Holidays event will take place in the parking lot of Veterans Memorial Stadium – 950 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids
