Gary Dalliday was the epitome of what a local news sportscaster should be. He’d spend longer talking about a local highschool team making it to provincials than about the Stanley Cup playoffs. Great promoter of this town and he will be missed

Spent a lot of time as a kid watching Gary Dalliday on CHEX and he was a big league broadcaster. Was honored to get to call him a friend later in life. Peterborough is a great place. Just not as great today with the passing of Gary.

Heavy heart tonight as I learn of Gary Dalliday’s passing. He played fast pitch with my father, coached me, supported me and was a friend. I spent countless hours watching, reading and listening to his great work. Peterborough has lost an icon.
