Carl's concept art from the Genesis of the Blue Blaze material collection shows a few different designs for both him and Nirvana. One of the earliest renditions appears to have Nirvana appear as more of a wooden marionette, while another gives him some sort of apparatus weapon.

At the end of Carl's CF Act 3 Arcade, he finally finds his quarry in Noel Vermillion; realizing that not only is she a prime field device but also critically important to the state of the Embryo. He closes in to analyze her but Nirvana stops him, opening a chance for her escape.

Within BlazBlue, there are shown to be numerous forms of phone communication used by several characters. While Tager receives orders on the field by radio, Smartphone-like devices are used by Kagura. Hazama meanwhile connects to other NOL departments with vintage rotary phones.

As learned from @crackinatkins.plusframes.gg' latest video, Yumi's Whirling Fans (236A/B & her 6P) freeze the opponent, but also have a unique restand property in its capture state. This allows most command grabs to combo, enabling conversions from the likes of Waldstein and especially Noel.

According to Mori in the BBCF Material Collection interview, there are a number of things in Story mode that were cut for time. Notably, Relius had many scenes of him acting in the shadows away from the major conflict; his content alone almost doubling the game's final script.
