Every time I quit my job or get laid off I take a break of at least 2 months. I push off to vacations, hang out with my family, do some math, catch up on backlogs of my readings, try to learn a new programming language etc. No one pushes for deadlines - a great way to recharge.

Had a successful interop, with 3 lean clients connecting, and accepting each other's blocks. Thanks to everyone involved ladislaus.eth, raulk.eth • p2p/acc, unnawut 🦇🔊, @kamil_ably, junsong.eth, and g11tech + Kai Chen from zeamETH for having my back during the debugging sessions.

Recently Codex help me find two tricky issues when I was working on github.com/zen-eth/eth-p2…, and it taught me debug the test using lldb, it is the best agent I used right now.

In the era of vibe coding, some principles of coding practices should actually be changed. Previously, because humans maintained the code, you needed strong readability and should avoid code duplication as much as possible. But in the future, more and more code will be maintained

Excited to share that TigerBeetle and Synadia have pledged $512,000 to the Zig Software Foundation. Zig changed my life, making TigerBeetle possible. It's been an adventure these past 5 years, and thrilled to pay it forward, together with my friend Derek Collison.

🔗 ethresear.ch/t/the-future-o… Most “self-custody” wallets rent truth from a few RPC gatekeepers. When they hiccup, they die. OOPSIE flips it: snap-sync + verified slices of your state. ⚡️ A new type of Snap Sync-based wallet which showcases some of Ethereum's upcoming problems!

In our latest blog post, we apply ADRS to database transaction scheduling. It turns out that AI could not discover a better online transaction scheduler than the existing SOTA algorithm from our VLDB '24 paper (vldb.org/pvldb/vol17/p2…). However, this process also revealed the
