So the government eases lockdown for xmas shopping just in time to put us in Tier 4 so we can't see those family members. A good lockdown in the run up would have made seeing our loved ones at this time of year possible. Is boosting the economy for a few weeks that important?

At this rate we'll be open for New Year's day shopping just in time for a nice Feb lockdown and then we'll have completed 12 month cycle.
