One of the things I’ve appreciated about PJ is his teams are rarely not competitive. Twice this season it hasn’t been competitive and we still go to Oregon. That said, 8-4 is still very possible. Every week is an adventure.

Yesterday was tough but doesn’t change the fact that Gophers FB is 5-0 at home this year. We have a fun Halloween weekend game vs Michigan St on Sat, let’s pack the Bank and get the mojo back!

This ranking has the Gophers at 15th in the B1G, ahead of Northwestern, Penn St and Rutgers. That would be a worse finish than last season’s 12th place team under Ben Johnson.

Playing Michigan St on Halloween weekend reminds me of Oct 31, 2009. Adam Weber threw for 416 yards and 5 TDs including this crazy ‘immaculate reception’ by RB Duane Bennett off TE Nick Tow-Arnett and the Gophers won 42-34!
