The benefit of cover crops?? Getting on planting winter wheat after the rain in Yorkshire!

Popped in to see phil rowbottom today on my way down the country. Amazed to see he was out with his drill, after all the rain we’ve had recently! Just shows the power of cover crops and improving soil health! The apprentice doing a great job behind the wheel!

Been out today to finish stubble cleaning. Catch crops did their best but not in ground long enough. Soil health has probably stood still this year with the weather. We go again 2025. It did travel well considering the rain we’ve had. Wheat going in next
