Great to see an SME @NORSSuk trail blazing with future orbital analysts; 3 yrs of training, a life time of development. It is vital to ensure sustainable benefits from space through developing an understanding of space early...time is not on our side! UK Space Agency UKspace

Raf Space @UKSPOC Pioneering work by a very small, but specialist team of RAF & UKSA (@NORSSuk) orbital analysts. Conjunctions, fragmentation & atmospheric re-entries are just a small portion of #RAFspace analytical / SDA work, but certainly keeps us on our toes. #SafeAndSustainableSpace

Interesting but raises so many questions for me... how does this differ to Starkinks so called autonomy? What is the human interaction element of routine operations, if any? How will this effect collision avoidance processing? and the rest... spacenews.com/seakr-wins-60-…

It was great to be back at the Cluster today and to introduce not one, but two Space Directors and a Space Commander to the amazing facilities, innovative companies and key organisations Harwell Campus. If only we had had time to meet more companies! @beisgovuk Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧

Agreed! However, it also is the responsibility of ALL involved to ensure their actions don't add to the problem. Consider end-of-life guidelines, strong collision avoidance processes, stop anti-satellite demonstrations... always respect the environment! spacenews.com/u-s-space-forc…

Major solar flare today. The unpredictability of the sun is highlighted by the fact the sunspot from which the CME occurred didn’t even exist yesterday.
