Lightning was moving through the hallway today! Kids ran electronic timed 40’s. Their work has definitely paid off! ⚡️⚡️

Let us just brag on our kids and staff for a minute. Girls track won Mid-State… FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! Could not have asked for a better group of kids or coaches. Everyone involved has worked diligently to get to that point. Buy in is crucial, it works!

10 school records were shattered this year for track…. THATS NOT AN ACCIDENT! Kids and coaches worked hard! Boys track set a new 4x100 time and a bunch of girls records went down! We will post all shortly! APC has a TON of track kids in it!

This is what records our current track team have broken, JUST THIS SEASON. We are going to need a new board!

To explain the importance of being able to train athletes daily. 50% of our 7th grade APC participated in track this year. 42% of our 8th grade APC participated in track. 100% of APC students play at least 1 sport in our school. There are very few schools where you find this!

All of those tweets to say: the methods of how we train athletes works for a lot of them, but when the kids commit to the training themselves it becomes special. Congrats Girls Track and Field for being Conference champs! We still have work to do! #SetTheStandard #RaiseTheBar

State Meet History Book Update!!! •Our 11 points and 21st-place team finish are our best result in program history! •Amy Luttrell is our first girls track and field state champion in school history! •Emma Gardner joins Emily Bonser as just our second All-State discus thrower!

It’s our staff welcome back meeting with several of our students sharing what they have learned from our great faculty and staff! School starts tomorrow!

I know a lot of people complain about who they work with or where they work, but gosh darn it we have it good here! Starting year 10 and I couldn’t be more excited for our future! Better People, Better Woodmen!
