Very excited to have my research with the amazing Stan Floresco published in my first JNeuro paper đ§ đThe thread he put together is pretty great too, heâs clearly GIFted!
New #JNeurosci work from Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health UBC Psychology shows that the dorsal, prelimbic medial prefrontal cortex aids in both active avoidance of aversive events & withholding of responses to obtain rewards. Still processing the rich conversations from #aes22ADL. Here were a few of my favourite slides from yesterdayâs session on First Nations Data Sovereignty with Corinne Hodson @skyetrudgett Jessie Sleep and Darren Clinch.
Talking frenzied piranhas and the loop of reactive data collection when evaluation is driven by anxiety. Lots of thoughtful visuals by Amy Gullickson and awesome reflections on being evaluators. Who knew we needed more stick figures at #aes22ADL ?
Maturity as evaluators is supportive of developing others and guide evaluation that is driven by purpose. Be curious, listen carefully, stay connected and keep focused on your soul. Starting day 3 of #aes22ADL with bucketloads of inspiration from Amy Gullickson
