i always avoid phrases like “outdated controls.” it just controls differently. every game controls differently. you just need to learn them. learning is joyful and rewarding. so yeah im snobbish about it. great games are timeless no matter the form.

Whenever the big “games are art” discussion comes around I do somewhat agree but there’s also this really annoying implication that art= storytelling/narrative and gameplay only serves as a means to some version of that rather than it being the art in of itself I don’t fw that

So this guy got a collection of it old games with the shitty one included and now getting a new game, How the heck did that happen? If bubsy could some how make a come back i hope other platformers get an opportunity..
